A native German with a nursing degree specializing in Geriatric care, Carmen moved to Texas in 1999. Feeling called to change careers to Massage Therapy, she graduated from the Austin Community College‘s Massage Therapy program in 2004 and completed her Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy (now known as Crossfiber Corrective Muscle Therapy) training in 2008. Carmen combines her diverse techniques, which include Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy, Hot & Cold Stone Massage, Swedish Relaxation, Prenatal, Sports Massage, Facial Massage and Myofascial Release. Carmen has also gained experience working in injury rehabilitation at a chiropractic clinic, in several Austin Spas and does Corporate Chair massages.

She has been on the massage Team at various sporting events around Austin, such as the MS 150 Bike ride, Ride for the Rose, Danskin Triathlon, Free Scale Marathon, Capitol 10K, Shiner B.A.S.H. and lots of benefit events like the Austin American Heart Association Walk and the Spokes & Spurs Bike ride to support Children with Down and Asperger Syndromes. She is happily married, loves to pamper and provide for the health and well-being of her clients. Of course she is fluent in German and understands some Dutch and Swiss.
